The Abilene Startup Blog is part of the Startup Blog Network. Alexander Muse started the network in 2005 when he published his first post on the Texas Startup Blog. Today his blog has more than 1,500 articles on entrepreneurship and venture capital and has garnered international attention with more than 50,000 regular readers. In 2008, Alexander and his team expanded the network to all fifty states, with plans to expand outside of the United States over the next year. The Abilene Startup Blog is authored by Chad Hutchins.
Chad Hutchins is an aspiring entrepreneur, passionate about creating web applications that help others. He writes about West Texas entrepreneurs, investors and opportunities on the AbileneStartups.com blog. From 8-5, he works for Milsoft Utility Solutions in Business Development. All other hours of the day, he works as co-founder of Big Tech Onions, creating web applications in the social media space.
